The Gallery is a painting by Giovanni Paolo Pannini painted in 1759. There are three versions: the one proposed is kept at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The painting was commissioned by Louis XV’s ambassador to Rome, the Count de Choiseul. It portrays dozens of views of modern Rome inside an imaginative Baroque gallery.
The tiles of the Jigsaw puzzle are contained in a natural linen bag and packaged in an exclusive wooden box to protect it during transport.
